In collaboration with Studio Kipo, we developed the Portal12 — Formulas mobile app for practical work on the path of self-knowledge and spiritual awakening. It offers ready-made or personalized programs with formulas and prayers, organized by key themes, and allows for quickly finding suitable formulas or prayers as needed. The app includes options for adjusting the font size, setting reminders for formulas, and sending push notifications about upcoming events through an administrative panel.

Understanding
Portal 12’s Users and Vision
To create a truly impactful app, we immersed ourselves in the world of Portal 12 users. Through behavioral analysis and a strategic roadmap, we gained a deep understanding of their spiritual challenges and aspirations. Our focus on customizable programs, personalized experiences, and accessible features ensures the app becomes a faithful companion on their path to awakening.

the Experience
We architected a seamless user journey by creating a clear and intuitive app structure. Our wireframes served as the blueprint, defining the layout and flow that would guide users effortlessly through the app. With a focus on simplicity and accessibility, we eliminated unnecessary complexities, ensuring the experience was enjoyable for all users.

a memorable interface
We crafted a visually striking interface that differentiates the Portal12 - Formulas app from competitors in the Bulgarian market. By incorporating thoughtful details and a harmonious color palette, we evoked a sense of tranquility and focus. To accommodate the needs of our target audience, we implemented flexible font size options, ensuring optimal readability and reducing eye fatigue.
Challenges
Unfamiliar Product: There isn’t an app like this on the Bulgarian market, so at first the product might feel unfamiliar and users might not be motivated it to use it.

By offering a free, registration-free initial experience, we empower users to explore the app's value firsthand. Clear onboarding and intuitive navigation guide users seamlessly, while a visually appealing and engaging design fosters a positive first impression. This combination, coupled with heavy advertising on the website where our target audience is already engaged, effectively overcomes the hurdle of product unfamiliarity and encourages sustained usage. The website will provide detailed information about the app's purpose and usage, preparing users for a smooth transition to the mobile experience.
Tech-Savvy Concerns Among Target Audience: Our target audience consists of 40-50 year old women, many of whom do not feel confident in their tech skills and typically use their phones for Facebook and phone calls.
ChallengeTo overcome this barrier, we designed the app with a user-friendly interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate. By focusing on clear navigation, large buttons, adjustable text size, and familiar layouts, we created an app that feels comfortable and easy to use. We also used simple, clear language throughout the app and included helpful pop-ups that explain any issues and guide users through next steps.

Visual Style & UI kit
We chose blue to match Portal 12’s brand identity and introduced purple as the second primary color. Associated with the Crown Chakra, purple represents the connection to the Universe and transformation, enriching the app with a deeper spiritual tone.
We selected Alkes by Font Fabric for the headlines to ensure it supports Bulgarian Cyrillic. This typeface combines attractive details with a blend of contemporary and traditional styles, making it visually appealing on screen while preserving a timeless quality.
Home screen
The home screen is centered around the formulas of Eleazar Harash and Teacher Beinsa Duno. Users can unlock Ancient Formulas and achieve different statuses based on how frequently they use the app, motivating daily use.
Formulas
The app offers a vast library of over 2300 formulas contributed by Eleazar Harash and Teacher Beinsa Duno, alongside ancient formulas. We've integrated a keyword search and an alphabetical category index to facilitate discovery.
Each formula is presented in a visually appealing layout, with adjustable font sizes for optimal readability. Users can also save frequently used formulas for easy access.
Personalized programs
The app provides a selection of pre-configured programs to guide users in their spiritual practice. These lists can be fully customized to align with individual needs and preferences. Additionally, users have the flexibility to create entirely personalized programs from scratch. A sequential viewing mode allows users to seamlessly navigate through the formulas within a program.

To foster consistent user engagement and support spiritual growth, the app incorporates timely in-app notifications. A curated library of videos and articles is provided to offer additional inspiration and deepen users' understanding.
